The letter concerns a meeting with Anis al-Dawlah, favorite wife of the harem of Nasir al-Din Shah, in which she is asked to deliver a petition from Firuz Mirza Nusrat al-Dawlah, son of ʻAbd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma and ‘Izzat al-Dawlah, to her husband and the Crown Prince.

Muhammad Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma’iyan, the younger brother of ‘Abbas Mirza Salar Lashkar, writes to his sister-in-law, Zahra Sultan ‘Izzat al-Saltanah, from the hospital in Berlin. He mentions that he is writing on Salar Lashkar's behalf, as his weakness does not allow him to write himself. He describes Salar Lashkar's treatment and tells her that he is improving and there is no need to worry. Muhammad Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma’iyan, the brother of ‘Abbas Mirza Salar Lashkar, writes to his sister-in-law, Zahra Sultan ‘Izzat al-Saltanah, from Berlin on behalf of ‘Abbas Mirza. He talks about ‘Abbas Mirza's condition, his treatment, his weakness, and his need to rest. He then responds to some of ‘Izzat al-Saltanah's questions regarding the horses, dog, and some of the people who work for them. ‘Abbas Mirza has added a note asking ‘Izzat al-Saltanah to send his regards to Salar Muhtasham.

Firuz Mirza Nusrat al-Dawlah, acting on behalf of his mother, Fatimah Khanum ‘Izzat al-Dawlah, transfers her share of the inheritance from her deceased son, ‘Abbas Mirza Salar Lashkar, to his underage children, Mihri, Bahram, and Bahman Farmanfarma’iyan. ‘Izzat al-Dawlah's share was one sixth of ‘Abbas Mirza's properties and belongings.
